Free Website Traffic Checker: Check website traffic for any site

See how many visits any website gets from Google, its 24-month trend, top pages and the keywords that bring the traffic.

About this website traffic checker

This free website traffic checker shows how many visits any website gets from Google. Enter a domain or URL, pick a country, and you get the site's estimated monthly organic visits, what that traffic would cost in Google Ads, its ranking keywords and a 24-month trend.

The traffic checker then lists the pages that bring the most visits and the keywords behind each one, so you can see where a site's search traffic comes from. Wondering how to check website traffic of any site, including a competitor's? You don't need their login: the numbers come from Google rankings, not from their analytics.

Add a second domain and it works as a side-by-side website traffic analyzer, with the leader on each number marked. You can check website traffic free, with no signup, and download the top keywords as a CSV.

How to use Website Traffic Checker

    Enter any website

Type a domain or paste any URL from the site, yours or a competitor's. We check the whole domain.

    Read the report

See estimated monthly visits, traffic value, the 24-month trend, top pages and the keywords that bring the visits.

  4. 4

    Compare with a competitor

Add a second domain to see both sites side by side, with the leader on each number marked.

How the traffic estimate works

The checker starts from Google rankings, not from the site's own analytics. DataForSEO keeps a database of Google's top 100 results for a very large list of keywords in each country. For every keyword a site ranks for, we take its monthly search volume and multiply it by the share of clicks that position usually gets: a page in position 1 gets far more of those clicks than a page in position 9. Adding up every keyword gives the estimated monthly visits from Google.

The same sum runs for each past month, which gives the 24-month trend, and for each page, which gives the top pages list. Traffic value prices each of those visits at the keyword's Google Ads cost per click.

Estimates can be off in both directions. They miss keywords outside the database, can't see every brand search, and count only organic Google search. Use them to size up a site, compare competitors and spot trends, not as an exact visitor count.

Traffic checker vs Google Analytics and Search Console

This traffic checker
Works on any website, including competitors, with no setup. Estimates visits from Google search only, based on rankings. Best for comparing sites and spotting trends.
Google Search Console
Free, but only for sites you own. Shows your real clicks and impressions from Google search, by page and by query. Use it for your own exact search numbers.
Google Analytics
Free, only for sites you own, and needs a tracking code. Counts every visit from every source: search, ads, social, email and direct.

What the numbers mean

Monthly visits
Estimated visits from Google's organic results in one month, in the country you picked.
Traffic value
What those visits would cost if the site bought the same clicks with Google Ads. A high value means the traffic comes from searches advertisers pay for.
Ranking keywords
Searches where the site shows up in Google's top 100. Most bring few visits; the top 10 positions do the work.
Page 1 keywords
Keywords in positions 1 to 10, where most clicks happen. The rankings chart splits them into #1, #2-3 and #4-10.
Search intent
Why people searched: to learn (informational), to compare options (commercial), to buy or sign up (transactional) or to reach a specific site (navigational).
Brand searches
The share of visits from searches that include the site's name. A high share means the site relies on people who already know it.

Frequently asked questions

How does this website traffic checker work?

It looks up every keyword the site ranks for in Google's top 100 in the country you pick, multiplies each keyword's monthly searches by the usual click rate for its position, and adds up the visits. The ranking data comes from DataForSEO's Google database.

How accurate is the traffic estimate?

It is a good guide to a site's size and trend, not an exact count. Real traffic can be higher or lower because of brand searches, seasonal swings and keywords outside the database. Compare sites with the same tool, so any error applies to both.

Can I check a competitor's website traffic?

Yes. Enter any public domain; you don't need access to the site or its analytics. Add a second domain to compare the two side by side.

How do I see my own exact traffic?

Use Google Search Console for your exact clicks from Google search, and Google Analytics for every visit from every source. Both are free, but they only work on sites you own.

Why does my site show zero traffic?

The site doesn't rank in Google's top 100 for any keyword in the database for that country yet, which is normal for new sites. Try another country, and check in Google Search Console that your pages are indexed.

Is this website traffic checker free?

Yes, free with no signup. Each check reads paid ranking data, so each visitor can run up to 10 checks per hour.

How often is the traffic data updated?

The Google ranking database behind it is refreshed about once a week, and the trend shows one estimate per month. Results are kept for 24 hours, so checking the same site twice in a day shows the same numbers.

Does it count traffic from ads, social media or other search engines?

No. It estimates visits from Google's organic results only. When a site runs Google Ads, the paid estimate is shown separately. Direct, social, email and Bing visits are not included.
