A launch listing gets you a short burst of attention and a permanent page. It will not carry your SEO on its own, so plan what comes after it.

People still search for these lists, so the rows are in the table and labeled. We are not recommending them for SEO. Read Google’s link spam policy.
Expect little or no SEO value. Google's policy names bookmark site links as an example of link spam when they are low quality. Pinterest and Flipboard can still send readers if your audience is there, so use them for reach, not for links.
A profile link shows a brand exists, and that is about all. Anyone can make one in a minute, so search engines have little reason to count it. Fill in the profiles you would really use, such as GitHub, and skip the bulk lists.
The old article directories are going away: EzineArticles, GoArticles and HubPages all failed our check. Google's policy also covers links with optimized anchor text in articles distributed on other sites. Medium and DEV can reach readers, so write for them, not for the link.

A few relevant listings can send visitors and confirm your brand exists. They rarely move rankings alone. Google's link spam policy names low-quality directory and bookmark site links as an example of spam, so quality matters more than count.
Yes. All 449 rows are on this page and in the CSV with no email and no sign-up. The optional updates box is only there if you want to hear when the list changes.
Our script opened up to four listing pages per site and read the rel attribute on outbound links. 22 sites showed only followed links, 68 showed nofollow on some or all, and the rest could not be tested, often because the site blocks automated requests. Subreddits are marked nofollow by platform rule, not by test.
DR means Domain Rating, a 0 to 100 score for the strength of a site's link profile. We read it for each domain on October 31, 2026 from a third-party SEO data API. It describes the whole domain, not the page your listing would sit on, so a high DR does not mean your link will carry much weight.

We started from the Outrank team’s list of 404 places to post a startup and added 110 well-known business, bookmarking, profile and article sites that keyword searches expect. A script then did the following on :
