Framer guide
How to add a free blog to your Framer site
Framer is great for landing pages, but a growing blog can hit CMS limits and needs its pages designed by hand. Outrank Blogs gives you a complete blog for free, connected to your Framer site at blog.yourbrand.com with one DNS record.

Subdomain
Your blog at blog.yourbrand.com
Framer hosts your site for you, so a subdomain is the simple, reliable way to add a blog on your own domain.
Step by step
Set up your blog on Framer
- 1Create your free blog: enter your website and pick a template. It is live in about a minute.Start here
- 2In Outrank, open Blog → Settings → Domain and choose “Subdomain”. Enter the address you want, such as blog.yourbrand.com, and click Continue. Outrank shows the DNS record to add.
- 3Sign in where you manage your domain’s DNS (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, OVH…) and add the record Outrank shows, with the same type, name and value. Remove any other record with the same name first.
- 4On Cloudflare, set the proxy status of that record to “DNS only” (grey cloud).
- 5Back in Outrank, click Check now. Most changes work within minutes, some take up to 24 hours. HTTPS is set up for you.
- 6In Framer, add a “Blog” link to your navigation and footer that points to https://blog.yourbrand.com, then publish your site.
Tips for Framer
- Match the blog to your Framer site with the same logo, brand color and fonts.
- Add a link back to your Framer site in the blog’s navigation and a call-to-action block in your posts.
- If your domain already runs through Cloudflare’s proxy, the Cloudflare Worker guide lets you serve the blog at yourbrand.com/blog instead.
