Lovable guide

How to add a blog to your Lovable app

Lovable builds single-page React apps. A blog built inside one is rendered in the browser, which makes posts harder for search engines and AI assistants to read. Outrank Blogs serves fast, server-rendered posts for free at blog.yourbrand.com.

Subdomain

Your blog at blog.yourbrand.com

Lovable hosting does not let you forward a subfolder to another service, so a subdomain is the simple option. Deploying to Vercel or Netlify instead? Their guides let you use /blog.

Step by step

Set up your blog on Lovable

  1. 1Create your free blog: enter your website and pick a template. It is live in about a minute.Start here
  2. 2In Outrank, open Blog → Settings → Domain and choose “Subdomain”. Enter the address you want, such as blog.yourbrand.com, and click Continue. Outrank shows the DNS record to add.
  3. 3Sign in where you manage your domain’s DNS (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, OVH…) and add the record Outrank shows, with the same type, name and value. Remove any other record with the same name first.
  4. 4On Cloudflare, set the proxy status of that record to “DNS only” (grey cloud).
  5. 5Back in Outrank, click Check now. Most changes work within minutes, some take up to 24 hours. HTTPS is set up for you.
  6. 6Ask Lovable to add a “Blog” link to your navigation and footer that opens https://blog.yourbrand.com, then publish your app.

Tips for Lovable

  • Keep the blog on its own subdomain rather than asking Lovable to build blog pages: each post is then a real page that search engines can read.
  • Add a call-to-action block to your posts that links back to your app’s sign-up page.

Want the posts written for you?

Outrank can research keywords and publish 30 SEO articles a month to your blog, on autopilot.

FAQ

Adding a blog to Lovable: questions

Short answers to what people ask most.

Why not build the blog inside my Lovable app?
Lovable apps render pages in the browser. Search engines can process them, but more slowly and less reliably than server-rendered pages, and many AI crawlers do not run JavaScript at all. Outrank Blogs sends every post as ready-made HTML.
Can I put the blog at /blog instead?
Yes, if your Lovable project is deployed to Vercel or Netlify through GitHub, or if your domain runs through Cloudflare’s proxy. Follow the Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare guide.
Does connecting my own domain cost anything?
No. Connecting a subdomain, a subfolder or a separate domain is free on every Outrank Blogs plan, and HTTPS is included.
