Webflow guide
How to add a free blog to your Webflow site
A blog on Webflow usually means a CMS site plan and designing collection pages yourself. With Outrank Blogs, you get a ready-made, SEO-ready blog for free, connected to your Webflow site at blog.yourbrand.com with one DNS record.

Subdomain
Your blog at blog.yourbrand.com
Webflow hosting does not let you forward a subfolder to another service, so a subdomain is the simple, reliable option.
Step by step
Set up your blog on Webflow
- 1Create your free blog: enter your website and pick a template. It is live in about a minute.Start here
- 2In Outrank, open Blog → Settings → Domain and choose “Subdomain”. Enter the address you want, such as blog.yourbrand.com, and click Continue. Outrank shows the DNS record to add.
- 3Sign in where you manage your domain’s DNS (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, OVH…) and add the record Outrank shows, with the same type, name and value. Remove any other record with the same name first.
- 4On Cloudflare, set the proxy status of that record to “DNS only” (grey cloud).
- 5Back in Outrank, click Check now. Most changes work within minutes, some take up to 24 hours. HTTPS is set up for you.
- 6In the Webflow Designer, add a “Blog” link to your navbar and footer that points to https://blog.yourbrand.com, then publish your site.
Tips for Webflow
- Pick a template, colors and fonts in Outrank that match your Webflow site, and add the same logo.
- Add a link back to your Webflow site in the blog’s navigation, so readers can reach your product pages.
- If your domain already runs through Cloudflare’s proxy, the Cloudflare Worker guide lets you serve the blog at yourbrand.com/blog instead.
